Avoid this hotel- photos very different to reality.

Very disappointed. Except that the hotel seems old and very tired, the photos on the site are not a fair representation and can be misleading. The room is very basic. No fridge, no proper coffee machine, just a kettle. Cleanliness could be improved in general, both the rooms and public areas. However the linen was very clean.
Mattresses are solid - if its your preference.

Would probably not recommend this hotel. Rooms a bit old and tired, the pictures not fair representation, no fridges in rooms no easy to accesss laundry.
It is in a good location for the buses into Salzburg. Staff seem a little unprofessional towards no English speakers....

It is a beautiful property at a quick walkable distance from the main city centre of Salzburg. The room was clean. The hotel management allowed check-in earlier than scheduled time because the room was cleaned and ready. We got very good service from the reception. There is beautiful outside seating area for summer time. The restaurant inside the hotel seems to be high-end and expensive serving Austrian cuisine. Morn...

Comfortable stay for only one night. No complaints, everything worked. Not much amenities in the room. Hotel entry way and reception area had festive Christmas decorations. There was an interesting display case in the lobby showing beef aging....

Disappointed. Seems as a hotel from 20 years ago. No usb charging. No washcloths. Lighting in room very dark and dingy. No cooling in the room, only heating. Not even ventilation. Very stuffy but was able to open a window. Seems like a desolate area. Did not feel unsafe but not a walkable area....
