In our checkout day we left some food in the refrigerator with the plan to pick it up before the checkout time (12.00) . When I went up from the beach at 11.30 the room had already been cleaned and the food was no more there. When I spoke with the man in the reception he told me that the cleaning staff normally throw away the food they find in the room(I have never expirienced before) Just ridicolous! Than I tol...

We stayed at the resort for 5 nights over NY.
Reading the reviews, I have the following comments. Regarding the valet service, the prices were in line with almost all the other resorts in Miami South Beach. I actually paid more for parking in Fort Lauderdale than Miami Beach. The pool chairs was an issue but I find this in most resorts nowadays, if you not early enough you will not get a chair. Tired and somewhat grotty, this is an expensive hotel for what you get. I agree with previous reviewers who complained about the valet parking charge ($50 per day or $60 for a large vehicle plus tips), the various hidden extra charges that only appear when you go to check out, and the useless reception staff (they are really useless!).
