Great for 4 night visit, explore town and area.

Easy to find & close to station; only 10 minutes to centre, 15 minutes to the bridge. Lots to do
Enjoyed the deco features. Staff helpful, espec Lucas. Several restaurants and cafes close. Use the town shutlle / minibuses to get around too.
Took a bue to Pont du Gard and Usez - brilliant...

So so, although some pluses. I was surprised at so many good reviews. Maybe our room was just not the norm. Although it had been updated, it was still beat up in places. Missing/chipped paint,semi broken toilet seat, worn carpet. There was a bit of an odor in the bathroom but that may come with all the hotels in the old city. Due my planning error, I had to book last minute and so maybe we got a crummy room. I...

This is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff. The room was perfect with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is outstanding - everything from crepes to French pastries, meats, eggs, and fruit. The location is just a few minutes from the train station and a short walk up toward the palace along the main thoroughfare. Highly recommended if you are looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Avignon....

Avignon 2 night stay on holiday around southern France in May using public transport so needed accommodation near train

Location handy for station and old town sights. The room was big enough with nice view to back of hotel. Bed large and comfy. Fridge. Decent bathroom but no shower screen. Made it hard to shower properly. Air con was switched of centrally by manager. We were told too early in season! Did get a fan put into room. Whole hotel in need of TLC and some deep cleaning in central stairwell....

Loved this hotel! The location is very close to the train station and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms also were spacious and comfortable....
