Cuba has a hot tropical climate with only a small variation in temperature anually, typically there are both wet and dry seasons, however even during the wet season, showers often arrive in the form of short and heavy downpours usually separated by extended periods of sunshine.
The best time to visit is between December and March when sunshine and temperatures are at there best and rainfall is lowest.
The hottest month of the year is August with an average daily maximum of 33 C and an average low of 24 C.
The coolest month of the year is January with an average daily maximum of 27 C and an average low of 18 C.
