Best time to go to Benaulim
Temperatures in South Goa range from hot to pretty hot. And there’s not much seasonal difference – the mercury hovers around 25°C to 30°C year-round. October to February is South Goa at its sunniest – that’s when to make the most of its winter break potential. Monsoon season hits between June and the end of September. Sure, it’ll stay warm – but it’ll also rain a fair bit.Passports and Visas
You must buy a visa before travelling to India. Eligible UK passport holders can apply for an e-Tourist Visa, you can apply through our visa and travel authorisation partner – Sherpa. If you’re not eligible, you’ll need to apply for a ‘Regular Paper’ visa online and need to make an appointment to visit an ‘Indian Mission/Office’ in the UK as part of the application process. These offices are located in Birmingham, Edinburgh and London. For the most up-to-date passport and visa info, visit www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/india/entry-requirements.
Don't forget to arrange your travel money and insurance before you go.
Health and safety
You should take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover you while you’re away. It’s a good idea to visit your doctor a month or so before you travel for advice on vaccinations.
