Dine at one of Salema’s waterfront restaurants
Salema first got started as a fishing village, so it knows what it’s doing when it comes to seafood. These days, you can sample some of its popular sea bass, sardines and octopus during a meal in one of the eateries. Most of them are lined up along Salema beach, so you’ll be treated to an Instagram-worthy view of the coast while you eat.Lagos is a 30-minute drive down the coast from Salema. During a daytrip here, you can take a look around its collection of family-run craft stores, high-end jewellers and top-brand clothing shops. You’ll find most of them clustered around the 17th-century old town.
