For a rustic, DIY beauty treatment, get yourself over to Lake Pomorie, where you can coat your skin in medicinal mud. The locals swear by it for treating ailments and generally leaving skin soft and smooth. Just make sure you pack a swimsuit that you don’t mind throwing out.You name it, the mud on the banks of Lake Pomorie is said to cure it. In fact, the ancient inhabitants of this town thought it so valuable, the whole lake was considered sacred. Fast-forward a couple of millennia, and today’s mud baths are a much more glamorous affair.
