Dine on a Halkidiki favourite
You can go on a culinary adventure through Greece’s seafood down by the Neos Marmaras Marina. Try the Halkidiki favourite of sundried and grilled octopus at one of the tavernas that line the seafront. The octopus is grilled over charcoal, seasoned with fresh lemon and often served with ouzo.If you drive 10 minutes south, you’ll find yourself at the Domaine Porto Carras vineyards – the largest of Greece’s vineyards. It’s located on the slopes of Mount Meliton and has uninterrupted views of the Aegean Sea. Head to the winery and you’ll get to sip your way through some of the 26 varieties grown here.
