Medieval rose festival of Rhodes
Over in Rhodes Town, as the name of this festival suggests, they’ve gone all Medieval. And that can only mean knights on horseback, jesters, jugglers, fire-eaters and stilt-walkers. Puppet shows and archery contests keep the Middle Ages theme going, and there’s a spread of banquet-style food for the hungry.Kalithea doesn’t come with a full-on nightlife – it just a 1-club kind of place. Instead, evenings here are about relaxing with a drink in one of the friendly, laid-back bars. You’ve also got the waterside café at the spa – candles and chilled music make it a popular spot for sunset cocktails or after-dinner coffee.
