Bask in the sun at St Brelade’s Beach
People flock to the beach at St Brelade’s Bay for its shortbread-coloured sands and shallow waters. This south-facing stretch of coastline’s also a real sun trap, so topping up your tan’s an option, too. Hire a sunlounger and flake out for the day, or hit the water for a spot of paddleboarding.This imposing castle overlooks the fishing village of Gorey on Jersey’s east coast. It’s got more than 800 years of history under its belt, which you can learn all about as you wander around its towers and dungeons. This place gives you views, too – on clear days, you can see the French shoreline from the castle’s walkways.
