Schynige Platte

    Marvel at the geographical wonder that is the Glacier Gorge Grindelwald. This impressive gorge, with its mills, erosion and colourful marble, is a natural masterpiece. Walk through galleries and tunnels inside the rock, and visit the crystal museum too.

    Wander down the Dorfstrasse, Grindelwald's high street, and have a meal at one of the pavement restaurants that offer unbeatable views of the surrounding peaks.

    Get in touch with nature at the Alpine Bird Park. Accessible by bus, and 1,400m above sea level, this small bird park houses a handful of sick and injured birds cared for by the conservation team. The park also offers fabulous views.
