Splash some cash at one of Cancun’s shopping centres
Cancun’s shopping scene ticks off everything from top-name-brand jewellery stores to smaller souvenir shops. At Plaza Las Americas – a mall in the city centre – you’ll find a mix of both. It’s also home to an amusement park, a handful of restaurants and a cinema, so you can easily spend a day here.Costa Mujeres sits at the base of an 11-mile-long peninsula, which – for the most part – has been left to its own devices. Take a 10-minute drive along its sandy coast and you’ll find plenty of quiet spots to lay your beach towel.
