The bright blue Tyrrhenian Sea and the local lagoon are the stars around these parts. A five-minute drive away, La Cinta Beach's pearly sands sparkle next to the sun-drenched waters, which are perfect for paddle-boarding, snorkelling and other watersports. San Teodoro's lagoon isn't just popular with nature lovers – it's a favourite spot with pink-winged flamingos, too.

Sitting on the shore

There's plenty on offer without getting wet. Stroll along the beach by foot, see the sights by horseback or take in the view from a sunbathing towel. Finish the day with a tour of San Teodoro's flashy cocktail bars, home-grown local restaurants and renowned nightclub scene.
