Lively seaside resort
Rimini is one of Italy’s most popular beach resorts, thanks to it’s 15km sandy coast and energetic, vibrant nightlife. The sandy beaches that line the coast back onto promenades with restaurants, bars, hotels and nightclubs that come alive as the sun goes down. Although Rimini is the place to go if you like to party, it also holds a lot of history. In the Historic Centre, you’ll find Roman ruins and art museums, such as the City Museum which houses more than 1,500 pieces of art to admire. If you fancy a daytrip, you’re not too far from some of Italy’s most iconic cities either. By train you can get to Venice in three hours, Milan in two and a half hours and Bologna in just one hour.Best time to go to Rimini
The best time to visit Rimini is between April and October. If you like it scorching, then July and August are the time to go, with the thermometer creeping into the thirties. If swimming is on your itinerary, then June to September is when the sea is at its warmest. For exploring the town, and if you like it slightly cooler, then visiting Rimini in spring and autumn might better suit you, with temperatures in the early to mid-twenties.
