Laidback vibes
Chilling out in the Med doesn’t come any easier than in Puig de Ros. This pocket square-sized coastal town's just down the road from Arenal – jump in the car and you’ll be there in 10 minutes. It’s Arenal that’s got your nearest sandy beach, plus all those necessary holiday mod-cons – like a waterpark.
20 minutes to Palma
Go another 10 minutes in the car and you’ll turn up in the Majorcan capital, Palma. Swanky cocktail bars neighbour ritzy boutiques along age-old cobbled streets. Pavement cafés, a stunner of a cathedral and beachcomber-friendly sweeps of sand are also on the table.
Countryside pursuits
Puig de Ros is carperted in pine-heavy countryside landscapes, and an 18-hole golf course slots nicely between the trees. This course is littered with water holes and challenging long shots. A cooling drink in the shade of the golf course bar afterwards should make for a good incentive to get round all the holes.
