Travel by tractor

It's a walker's paradise of nature-filled hiking trails here – hop on the hiking buses or join a guided hike for free with your Wildschönau Summer Card (included with your stay at selected accommodations). And that's not all Niederau has to offer. The Bummelbahn train – pulled by a tractor – can carry you across the valleys. It'll get you great mountain views as you trundle past traditional farms and fields. This plucky little ride even runs in the snow – and the place is at its prettiest when it's coated in white.
