There's a hearty café culture here, while most of the tavernas serving up traditional Greek cuisine have outdoor seating for an al fresco feel. Specialties of the region include rabbit in olive oil and stifado – a wine-laden beef stew. Remember to leave some room for a tempting pastry dessert.
