Palma’s not the only Majorcan resort with luxury holidays to tout – Magaluf’s fancy, four-star hotels do the job, too.
Magaluf’s Attractions
Head north for 30 minutes and you’ll hit Palma, the chic capital of Majorca, which is well worth a visit on a luxury break to Magaluf. You can splash the cash at luxury brands such as Cartier and Loewe, which line the Avinguda Jaume III. There are also lots of independent boutiques around the car-free Plaza Mayor. Palma’s icon of Santa Maria Cathedral — known as La Seu — stands sentry over the city and is worth a peek inside.
Magaluf Party Scene
Magaluf is the party capital of Europe and it’s easy to see why. Its main strip is jam packed with British pubs and neon-lit bars. But it doesn’t have to be tacky. The music genres here span from 70s disco through to RnB and Hip Hop to House. BCM Planet Dance is Magaluf’s biggest club, and blasts out tunes from some of the best DJs in the world.
