From family beach resorts to party towns
Cyprus has 50-plus Blue Flag beaches to its name. Loads are family-friendly, some are tucked-away coves — and they’re all top-notch. On the other end of the spectrum, you’ve got Ayia Napa. It’s known for its non-stop nights, so the main square packs out with clubbers come sundown. The soundtrack switches from hardcore trance to R ‘n’ B classics, plus the occasional superstar DJ has been known to swing by.
History-packed Paphos
Don’t worry if you’ve run out of time to research activities — you’ll be tripping over historic sites in Cyprus. The port town of Paphos is a great example. It’s got Neolithic roots, but also features Ancient Greek villas, Hellenistic tombs and a Medieval castle.
