Waterpark hotels
Family hotels in the Canary Islands have it all going on. For starters, we’ve got a clutch of SplashWorld hotels there — AKA hotels that come with bottomless waterpark access. In some cases, you get passes to nearby waterparks like Siam Park in Tenerife. And some have their own waterpark right onsite. The Paradise Valle Taurito on Gran Canaria is a case in point. It comes with a huge pool, slides and a spa.
Big days out
Siam Park and Mount Teide National Park in Tenerife take top spot on most family wish lists. But there’s plenty to do on the other islands. Gran Canaria stars Loro Parque wildlife park, while Oasis Park on Fuerteventura is home to an army of African animals. Lanzarote, meanwhile, launches galleon boat trips and whale watching adventures.
