Beach days and lively nights
The Costa Blanca is renowned for its sweep of sandy beaches. And Benidorm is home to two of the best. Levante Beach showcases watersports centres, rope bridges and seaside waterslides. It can get pretty busy, so families also make tracks for quieter Poniente Beach. Come evening, cabaret shows and tribute bands rock Benidorm’s cafés and bars. Hotels put their two cents in, too, rolling out magicians and circus acts.
Terra Natura and Aqualandia
Hotels like the Magic Natura — Animal, Waterpark & Polynesian Lodge put you within grabbing distance of the Terra Natura theme park. As well as tiger and sea lion enclosures, it hands out high-speed zip wires and donkey rides. Aqualandia is another family hotspot. It’s the biggest waterpark in Spain.
