These deals are already looking hot for summer 2025

  • If you love to plan ahead, this is the place for you… Summer 2025 is basically just around the corner – you snooze, you lose, right? There’s no time like the present to lock in your next trip, so we’ve pulled together some of the best deals and destinations to get you started.

Think cliché-white sands and blue, blue waters in Turkey and Greece, old town vibes and hiking in Majorca, or pure festival feels and ancient history in Mexico. The Canary Islands are always a winner, so you can’t go wrong with a budget-friendly break to Tenerife and Lanzarote. Or, if you’re after somewhere pretty that also loves to party, Cyprus and Ibiza finesse that balance.

A serious perk of picking early is that you’ve got all the choices… It’s not just the above, other destinations are available and not everyone is as ahead of the game, which means availability should be looking pretty good for your ideal dates. Call yourself a trendsetter, tick off your next destination and before you know it, the whole of the UK wants to go there too, and your mates will be wishing they’d all booked when you did.

Plus, think of the deals. Loads of hotels would love to book up ASAP for next year, so there’s usually always the odd discount and offer on to get people interested. If you’re looking to secure a school summer holiday, we’ve also got thousands of free child places available on selected trips, so you can take one little one away for free – we all know family holidays can add up when you have to pick in peak seasons. And you can make the most of our flexible payment options. Book now with a deposit and then spread the rest of your trip cost over multiple payments before you go. If you’re worried something else will come up in the meantime, add First Choice Flex to your booking to cancel for free* up to 48 hours before you fly – it’s none of our business why, life just happens and booking early can mean you end up missing out.

    Popular holiday types

Beach holidays never go out of style, so you can always count on your classics like Turkey, Spain and Greece to deliver the goods. Or, go for a different destination like Albania, Morocco or Montenegro – they’re on their way up for 2025.

Your food, drink, hotel and flights for one fixed price = no surprises on an All Inclusive trip. 2025 could be the year you learn to love this budget hack. You know exactly what you’re paying up front and don’t need to spend any more – the hotel buffet and bar feel free when you get there.

City breaks are perfect for making the most of long weekends – hello May and August bank holidays – and getting more little trips out of your annual leave. Yes, summer in the city can be warm, so why not go for ones that do the best of both with urban beaches too, like Barcelona and Athens?

Family holidays usually rely on school breaks, so booking early is the best way to beat the rest to it. We also offer free child places on selected trips, especially around the school hols, or, if you’re kids are young enough to go away in term time when it’s cheaper, do it!

Adults-only holidays are a real treat to escape your own kids and everyone else’s. But that can also involve sorting childcare, finding dates that work in you and your partner’s busy social calendars, getting a trip out the group chat – it all points to planning ahead…

Booking early when you’re going solo means you’ve got plenty of time to mentally and physically prep. Long out the process so you can research all the local recs. And if you’re going long haul, you might need a visa, so you’ll want enough time to sort the important stuff, too.

    Other destinations you'll love

It’s all over your Insta feed for a reason. Albania is a seriously hot pick for a bit of outdoor adventure mixed with beach. The capital, Tirana is trending on the nightlife scene and then the Albanian Riviera is all mountain-backed coastline with seriously blue waters. Hiring a car is ideal so you can explore both sides.

Sitting below Sicily, Malta doesn’t get the credit it deserves as a hot summer destination. It’s got Medieval towns, pretty harbours and the cool spot of St Paul’s Bay. There’s a line-up of sunbathing platforms here where you can get your tan on without sand getting… everywhere. The bar scene in St Julians is also buzzing.

This city is a classic for a festive, cold escape but in summer, Copenhagen’s wild swimming scene is thriving. There are a number of ‘harbour baths’, some beaches further out and La Banchina is an iconic restaurant/wine bar/swim spot.

Who said beaches had to be on the coast? The Italian lakes have their own pebbly banks and you’ll be surprised at the price of an Aperol Spritz… It’s surprisingly affordable compared to the likes of the Amalfi Coast. And, flights to Milan are usually pretty cheap – you can get a train to the lakes from here.

Canada is an absolute must for nature lovers and in summer, the Celebration of Light festival and whale-watching season just take it up a level. The city has nine beaches to pick from, where you can get stuck into sailing, kayaking and plenty of sunbathing before a barbecue on the sand for sunset.

All the talk of wet weather scares away the big crowds in July and August but if it tips it down, it’s heavy but short. So, beach days are definitely still on. Temps are in the high-20s, and you won’t be paying peak season prices, either.

    FAQs

You’ve got a couple of options when it comes to cheap holiday destinations. Turkey trumps things when it comes to pocket-friendly prices in high-end hotels. Spain’s another great option, too – the deals aren’t just on the cards for the country’s Costas, but for its islands, too. The Balearics and the Canary Islands are all-in when it comes to bargain breaks.

Yes – we reckon it’s one of the best ways to holiday. With your drinks and food taken care of, there’s plenty of time for R&R. And, when you book a package holiday, your flights and transfers are both included.

Half-term holidays tend to go a lot easier on the wallet than those smack-dab in summer. May, or October breaks are great options as they’re just before the summer’s peak season, so prices tend to be lower. When it comes to best time for booking, the answer is, early! Free child places offer some super-low discounts. They don’t tend to stick about for long though, so check out our free kids’ place finder to grab yours.
