Ruby Mimi Zurich is a fantastic hotel with a unique rock 'n' roll theme. The design is edgy and stylish, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We were particularly impressed by the staff's attentiveness to our family, especially our wife and child. The ability to rent an electric guitar and have a speaker in the room was a fun and unexpected bonus. While the location might not be the most central, the hot...

Visited Zurich for 1 day.
Room type - Lovely
Pros:
1. Room - clean and spacious. I had heard rooms are small in Zurich, but this was the opposite.
2. Bathroom - super clean and spacious. Note that the hand-wash basin is outside the bathroom / washroom.
3. Staff - very friendly. We were early to check-in and were accommodated.
4. Breakfast - We didn't opt for it as we were in the center with loads of options around.

The staff and then the Manager Wettstein was unwilling to honor the complimentary breakfast offered to the others in my group, this due to my error in the way I booked. We were charged almost the identical room rate as were the others in our group.
To save a few Francs, the hotel alienated us and earned a lousy review.
Further, their 24 hr complimentary coffee is accurate but a bit misleading. One must go to floo...

Pros ; fabulous location in old town , just a couple of blocks from the train station. The female check in bar staff very friendly. The hotel is very clean as are the rooms .very quiet. Hotel offers a nightly movie theatre. Great shower . Love the data ports .We booked a loft room , which is larger than there reg rooms. I had an expectation that loft ment top floor , with a deck as the pictured on the hotels web site...
