This hotel needs some upgrades. Peeling wallpaper and overall in need of some TLC. The amount of unnecessary plastic waste in the kitchen area is horrifying. To use one spoon for some cereal, you have to open a plastic package and discard the knife and fork. Plates, polystyrene. Pretty horrifying. How can washing some cutlery and plates be so difficult? We are from China and our English is not very good. Nara was very helpful to us when we checked in. We felt cold and he also helped us to give us blackjet，she is so nice. thank you Nara！！！She gave us hot tea when we left，We love the city and the hotel...

Thank you to Miss Nara!she was on top of any requests we had and had a beautiful smile while doing it! Very attentive staff throughout the hotel. Loved the area, NoMa, everything can be accessed on foot. Starbucks, Trader Joe's, CVS, 7-Eleven and more are within a pleasant walk....

Hyatt needs to complete an assessment of this location and develop an emergency operations plan. Additionally, for these rates I paid to tell me no housekeeping available and I had to go downstairs myself to get clean towels and TOILET PAPER is the worse....

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. However, it was a little run down for my expectation of a Hyatt Hotel, per California standards, this hotel's appearance was more like a Best Western-Inn than a Hyatt but I would definately stay there again....
