Staff was very nice, smoking accommodations outside were safe and confrontable. Room was perfect enjoyed eating the Carne Asada from the bar. Thank you for making my stay a beautiful experience...

I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference. Audrey and Tina were extremely helpful. I was concerned because some recent reviews had indicated there were bedbugs. There were none. They explained a disgruntled lodger had posted the reviews. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a view of the Washington Monument. My go-to place in DC. I travel solo for biz, and the dorm rooms (4 beds) are spacious, clean, and economical. Generator is mostly a hotel, so you get hotel amenities for hostel prices. The staff is excellent, led by the amazing Tina, who seems to know everyone and everything and is happy to make sure you're taken care of....

Honestly for how much we paid it did not match up with looks. Completely blindsided us with having to pay $50 a night. Thats a total of $150 just on parking for the weekend! The room was small and smelled. The two only thing that we liked was the view, and the mattress was actually comfortable. ...
