Good value in Washington DC just north of Dupont Circle

Generator is good value accommodation, a few minutes north of Dupont Circle. The rooms are spacious, if a bit worn, the service friendly, and the facilities include a bar and restaurant, which I did not try, and a café, which was solid. The neighborhood is well-known and offers lots of amenities, as well as easy connections to the rest of the DC area. Recommended....

I liked almost everything. It was not very sucessful day for me in the city, but I had a real rest in the hotel. And the atmosphere was really good. ...

Hostel's employees moved my stuff while I was out without informing me. It took us 2 days to find everything....

The hotel is in a decent area. It is pretty nice with friendly staff however dont bring your own food as they do not have a microwave on the premises.

I'll stay here again because of value, location & staff. I had a brief stay as I arrived late & left early. Notwithstanding, the place is a very nice 4 star. Reception staff was professional & friendly. The security guard was unobtrusive yet comforting. The lobby bar area was buzzing & lively even on a Wednesday.
