We have stayed at the hotel in the past and remember it being a more upscale experience. The convenience to Capitol Hill is wonderful. Staff was adequate. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. This will sound picky, but the noise level was annoying. The room doors bang extremely loudly unless you remember to hold the door. The most comfortable bed that I've slept in with amazing Hotel staff! I was treated amazing from the time I checked in till I checked out. The Staff at the Capitol Hill Hotel are friendly, bright, amazing, and thoughtful. Definitely the destination to stay in DC. I will say that the breakfast could have been better but you are within walking distance to a ton of good food places if you need variety. I recommend this ...

Perfect 1 night stay! Arrived a few hours early and room was ready, valet parking was less expensive than other hotels, and the price through TripAdvisor was also much less expensive than either direct from the hotel or other hotels in the region for night I was there!...

I stayed here for two days. The bed and pillows, very comfortable. The room and bathroom, very clean and the breakfast was great. I was also very impressed with the staffs, including the valet parking guys and the breakfast people. The location of the hotel was great. I will recommend and definitely book again, God willing....

Great older hotel, right in the heart of the Capitol. easy walking distance to all the facilities where I did business. Also, conveniently located for a quick walk to some great dining areas. Will definitely stay here again for any future visits....
