Normal hotel with standard facilities

I was living in a standard single room. Good isolation, I didn't hear anything from the street. Room is rather small but with everything needed. Employees were friendly, helping with all the requests and needs.
Breakfast was replaced by lunch box because of early flight that's why can't say anything about breakfast.
For the rest standard hotel....

Stayed here on two separate trips for business and stayed in two different rooms. Rooms and amenities were up to standard. No complaints here. Good breakfast, although the place can be crowded at times. Also no issues with the service as I see some complaining about. So overall a good experience on both occasions....

Horrible stay. The room was cold on the 8 th floor with horrible view to the wall(855). AC , telephone, fridge nothing is working in this room, first night asked reception boys to fix the telephone, no one came to see it. 4 sewing boxes and 2 empty closed boxes of shower cap on the sink, it seems the boxes are only as decorations not for use. Horrible customer service at reception , felt like in Russia full of bur...

I participated in a travel industry event for 3 days/2 nights. The facilities are ok (1 elevator out of 2 not working for 3 days and with a full hotel nobody bothered to fix it), nothing to complain about.
The huge problem is the staff. Let alone that a smile is too much to ask, in this case they stare into the emptiness and you just feel transparent when you come across any of them.

Room is o.k, but kind of spartan...
Definitely not worth almost a 200 Euros I was paying for it.
Location ig fine and lobby area is nice....
