We booked one week through Jet2 city break. Sadly, only once we booked did we find out that the pool was out of use during our stay. We arrived around 11am and greeted with smiles by the lovely reception staff. As check-in wasnt until 3pm, we were offered a chat with the concierge to find out about the city. The Lodge Hotel and adjoining Dona Maria Restaurant are absolutely amazing! Margarida at the front desk was so welcoming and attentive, her attention to detail was fantastic! Everyone at the hotel and restaurant was a class act, 5 stars. Buffet breakfast was dreamy, with views of city. The Lodge Hotel is a must stay if you are planning to visit Porto. This is my second time at this hotel and I enjoy it more and more every time. They just know how to treat you here. Lovely hotel in an excellent location. All the staff were excellent especially Helder who is head concierge. You can walk to all amenities from the hotel and so easy to get around. Excellent bars and resteraunts close by. Bedroom was superb with lovely bed and pillows. breakfast was also very nice with great selection for all tastes....

This is a very nice hotel. Beds, amenities, service were all perfect. The local in Gaia was convenient for trips around the surrounding area. The restaurant Dona Maria was a nice option. They staff were also very good at assisting before arrival with ideas and reservations....
