The hotel is in a great location. The room we stayed in, which was an upgrade we paid for, was far too hot for comfort even when the heating was turned down to zero. The toilet in our bathroom and main toilets near reception needed a thorough clean. The bar is situated in the main dining area, which isn't ideal if you just want a drink. Lovely hotel. Bed was the comfiest I've slept in for ages.... made getting up difficult!! Breakfast was a buffet style, and plenty of options. Room was clean, warm and I loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom! Staff warm and friendly. Would highly recommend this quirky stay....

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel. Check in and out were easy and the staff were super friendly, we visited in December and they gave us some great tips on what to see including the Christmas market. The location of the hotel is good, the area is nice and quiet but there are plenty of restaurants and cafes near by and its not a long walk (or a short tram) to the centre of Vienna. A lovely retro feel to the place. Staff were lovely. Room was small but ok for a few days. Shower had instant hot water test first before getting in as is very hot. Breakfast food wasn't too great compared to other places I've been in Europe. Scrambled eggs were very salty, bacon was very greasy. I stuck to yoghurt, cold meats and bread rolls. It was a 25 minute walk to the city centre....

I feel like we stayed in a different hotel than Ive read about in these reviews. The staff were lovely and helpful, truly. The breakfast was wonderful and much appreciated. I seriously dont like to give bad reviews, but these reviews I read here seem unfair to travelers. I was surely unprepared for the room accommodations. The hotel is in serious need of a cleaning.
