We stayed at the InterCity Hotel Wien for 4 nights , 5 days this week. We travelled from the UK to see the wonderful sights and enjoy the experiences of Vienna including the Christmas Markets and were not disappointed. The Intercity Hotel Wein is in a very good location with excellent transport links to get around the city which were easy to use. The hotel was in a good location & the rooms were basic but clean when we arrived. However, you have to request that your room is cleaned under the ruse of helping the environment. This was incredibly annoying & I understand how not laundering towels each day can help the environment but not, not emptying the bins. The rooms were so hot we slept with the window open in December....

Absolutely nothing like the photos. You get one pillow. There is a 24hr notice to have your room cleaned, if you are not aware of this, then you keep the same towels and the bins are also not emptied. The staff on reception are not very helpful or friendly. We had paid for breakfast but after the first morning we ate elsewhere. There is no lounge. It is a lobby with a vending machine, so you drink your wine from a pa...

We had a great stay at InterCity Hotel Wien. Centrally located on a quiet area of town with a grocery store with various goodies at your disposal. A good 20 - 25 walk to Innere Stadt/Opera House where all the activities is. Great staff, clean facility and rooms. Will stay here again....
