This was THE WORST hotel reservation we had ever have!
We booked in advance 4 nights with hotel Daniel for Sep 24-28 2024 and included a cancellation option which we paid extra for.
Unfortunately, the airline company cancelled our flight at the very morning of Sep 24, we contacted hotel Daniel with a request to change/cancel our booking, sending every possible document which confirms the flight cancellation date an...

OK but pricey and reception looks dodgy

Top spot a few minutes' walk from both Vienna Main Station and the Belvedere Palace. The first impression when walking through the door is incredibly off-putting -a front desk that looks (like much of the furniture generally) salvaged out of a recycling centre and reception staff wearing old jeans and random T-shirts. The location of Hotel Daniel is excellent! Right next to Schloss Belvedere and its wonderful gardens.
We stayed for 7 nights and had a lovely time there.Our room was comfortable and very clean.
We loved the food and especially the service. Pete was so very efficient and helpful. He gave us lots of useful tips regarding many things, not just about the hotel but other information we needed like transport.

This is a good hotel. Not exciting but well placed for the station and easy access to most areas of Vienna. The rooms are nice but why is the glass shower in the bedroom? Also very unusually there was no kettle or drinks in the room. You can, for a price, get coffee etc down stairs and take it up to your room. Some of the staff were very helpful but others seemed to be bored and unenthusiastic about doing their job....

Vegetarians, vegans and Muslims avoid

We are still at this hotel and this was our first breakfast here! Unfortunately the reason for my eating is the lack of hygiene at breakfast and rude waitress on the bar at breakfast.
If you are a vegetarian or vegan person or someone who eats halal food then please avoid having breakfast at this hotel.
