A great friendly hotel , spotlessly clean and easy reach to the underground, they have there own carpark with is great for us as we drive there and dog friendly, even better , the staff are so friendly and helpful, its spotlessly clean , the beds are brilliant , not to soft or hard...

This was my first time in Vienna with my partner and the hotel made sure it was special for us, before arriving we messaged the hotel to check how to get from the airport to the hotel and they were quick to reply back and also if you look on the hotels website it also gives you directions to get there but I wanted to double check. The location of this hotel is perfect. From inside Vienna Airport you take the S7 train ( the red one costing less than 5 euros, not the City green train costing much more) to Praterstern. From here the walk is less than 5 minutes to the hotel. Its easy walking into the city centre to see the sights. We stayed in a double room (comfort, courtyard view) for three nights, so did two other couples/friends of ours. First week of November was great to visit with cool temperatures (fall colors were past peak already, so end of October would have been even better). The Austria Classic is an independent hotel and with some history behind it.
The hotel is a two stops from Stephensplatz in the centre and from the moment we walked in we were made very welcome. Thankfully, my little German was superfluous as the staff were largely fluent in English!
The hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner but if the restaurants nearby are not to your taste, it's but a short walk down Prate...
