2* in the room, 4 at the door :(

The rooms are outdated. Woolen blankets on the bed, matras with springs and most uncomfortable.
Our floor has school kids on it, 4 ****??? Never again!
When we arrived there was no power on the 3rd floor. We biked all day and could not enter our room ...

One of the worst hotels we have ever been to. Miles away from anywhere. Reception underground and very dark, dull and oppressive, as was the receptionist we had the pleasure to be greeted by. The room we were put in was disgusting. Smelling of smoke and unbearably hot the decor was out of the shining. The furniture, curtains etc were grim. The hotel was a good 20 minutes on a bus from the outskirts of Verona. The parking is not free you have to pay 10 a day to park in their underground car park. The room was dirty near the bed an inch thick along one wall. The bathroom had black mould round the edges and up the tiles., also the shower head was black. What a shocker. Rooms very dated, shower was hanging off wall, mastic round bath dirty and coming awsy, strip down middle of bath supposed to be anti slip grip but was so grubby I would never of stepped on it. Reported to our tour guide who repirted to reception, they said they would look at it, it wasnt until 10pm on our 2nd night that they offered to move our rooms, we were leabing next morning so didnt bother, the...

Although this hotel is marketed as 4* with non smoking rooms, the hotel rooms do smell of cigarette smoke quite badly. The room itself was appointed well but dated. The biggest downside is as a 4* hotel you would expect to have a restuarant on site, and the availability to tea / coffee facilities in the room - neither of which were available. Couldn't even get a coffee in the morning without paying for a full breakfa...
