Really enjoyed this lovely little restaurant,
We came as English tourists on a Feb evening, it was not busy at all, we sat outside, only one waiter; service was amazing, fast and attentive.
For starters we had the beef (a little chewy), and calamari and prawn (the best seafood Ive ever had!) & for main we had carbonara (the best ever!) and a massive steak with stunning potatoes cooked to perfection.

Inedible piadina

I ordered a tomato and cheese piadina. What arrived was toast topped with a thin layer of tasteless tomato puree and some cheese. Absolutely inedible. There are much better choices nearby....

We sat in the outside seating area facing the theatre.
This is a very average restaurant. Even the menu cards are well thumbed; they really should replace them.
We had veal with salad, accompanied by a bottle of Bordolino. The salad was rather tired - as if it had been prepared several hours before - with lettuce going brown on the edges. Staff fairly friendly and overall reasonable value for money....

Cold and tasteless

Both the tortellini and seafood pasta were barely warm and the servings small and tasteless. What a disappointment....

Hard to find a good place near the Arena

Unlike the last time we were in Verona and were very lucky finding a good restaurant down a side street near the Arena, this one proved to be distinctly average. Best to drop in an have a drink and watch the crowds, but the pizza and risotto were nothing to write home about. Even my son said his pizza stood out as the worst on our trip. No one got sick, but best to eat somewhere else. Service was friendly, but toilet...
