Stayed here for a week.
A very convenient location, roughly halfway between the railway station and St. Marks, and easily accessible from the Alilaguna stop at Madonna dellOrto for travelling to and from the airport. The location seemed slightly more residential than some, with plenty of decent restaurants around, many frequented by locals.

A traditional hotel in a good location. Rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything you needed for a short stay: kettle, hairdryer. Room had air con but wasnt required when I was there. We stayed in the annex across the road from the hotel with a view of the street. Some noise from passersby could be heard but I didnt close the shutters. The breakfast was good. It a basic hotel but central Gabrielle is very helpful in arranging transport for us to be picked up near the hotel the breakfast is only basic but it is ok you have akettle and fridge in your room uf needed there is stars as this a old hotel we stayed across the rd...

The location is fantastic and the hotel has some old school charm. The problem was the smell of sewage emanating from the bathroom. The staff was not apologetic and said that the smell is not unusual in Venice. If you do book this hotel request a room in the main hotel and avoid room 507....

A very basic hotel. We werent told about the building of a huge hotel next door builders drilling from 7.30am. We were on the 3rd floor which was too hot and they turn off air conditioning in October and it was warm the week we were visiting. As a result of having to leave windows open we were bitten badly by mosquitoes. Walls are paper thin. Shower is tiny but good pressure. Bed rock hard.
