We had room 308, up in the lift and down some steep stairs to the back of the hotel. Room was spacey and very clean. The room had fabric on the wall and overlooked a small route, it was really quiet.
Small bathroom, that still did the job.
Breakfast was plentiful continental style, with two main dining rooms and a terraced area overlooking the Grand Canal. This doubled as a restaurant for lunch and dinner.

The staff here are superior and dismissive. The hotel is in disrepair with patched walls and peeling paint. The room smelled like a toilet most of the time. The noise from the streets never stops, even late at night because the hotel makes money selling liquor to obviously drunk people yelling and screaming until after midnight. Then you are awakened at 5 am by the garbage barge dumping metal bins into the hold for a...

Old word charm with a staff that truly makes you feel like family. The rooms are decorated the way I think the Venetians of old would have, everything was just perfect. Breakfast was such a treat and served until 10:30 am. which was great for those of us like to sleep later. And, with all the walking around you do in Venice, you will appreciate that!...

Beautiful hotel in a Perfect location next to the Rialto bridge. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely with a Grand Canal view to watch all the activity. There was some noise from the boats, as expected, but the windows blocked most of that out. Beatutiful hotel in great area. We stayed in room overlooking canal which was a bit noisy but we figured it would be . The view of the canal and bridge were worth it. Quirky old hotel with twists and turns but that made it charming. Breakfast was good ...coffee excellent. Close to restaurants and attractions and would definitely stay there again. Bed and pillows were on the firmer side....
