We stayed at the Monaco to celebrate our wedding anniversary, very kindly the hotel upgraded us to canal view room which was absolutely beautiful.
The hotel is located in the ideal location for sightseeing and theres a gondola station right outside.
The amazing and efficient hotel staff couldnt do enough for us.
The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety.
Yes its a little pricey but thats Venice for you.

The hotel is well located on the Grand Canal with a terrace directly overlooking the water. The restaurant is very good but the room was so disappointing...the rate was 1200Euros for a dated room overlooking an internal courtyard and a lift shaft. The hallway had faded yellow stained carpet and looked worse than a cheap hotel. I really felt ripped off....

Hotel in a very good position on the Grand Canal & only minutes away from St Mark's Sq. & next to a vaporetto stop. Renovated only a few years ago & so the rooms are of a very high standard & beautifully decorated. Comfy beds and nice quality bed linen. Some rooms have outside terraces, which are nice to relax on. Lovely hotel with excellent service and location. The most enjoyable aspect was breakfast and afternoon drinks on the terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. Room was beautifully decorated, somewhat small. Bed was a bit too firm, no coffee in room. Overall an enjoyable experience and would stay here again....
