Good Location, maybe not the best choice

Ill start by saying that the staff that welcomed us were wonderful! In fact, with the exception of not addressing the ungodly heat in the room, they were exceptionally accommodating , from recommending and making reservations for dinner to helping us decide which symphony to attend.

Lovely hotel in great location

I stayed here with my sister for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were always friendly and helpful, our junior suite was roomy . The bathroom was huge and looked recently renovated. Location is excellent. This hotel is a medieval palace and that should be borne in mind. You wont get a cookie-cutter Hilton experience. The electric outlets arent ideal for charging up a lot of devices at once....

Would Not Recommend Duodo Palace Hotel

We were excited about this place until we arrived. We arrived by boat taxi and no one came out to help us with luggage. I had to go in and ask for help, and they arrived after it was off the water taxi.
Checkin was fine and were told we had a free drink whenever we wanted to have it. We decided to have it one night, asked for a glass of wine. Told the guy about the free drink and he said no, its closed. So we too...

My husband has some mobility issues and cant manage lots of stairs so our agent requested a room close to the lift with no stairs to climb. We were given a disability room which was really single person size with a double bed pushed up against the wall requiring me to clamber over the bed in the night to use the loo. ( we are both elderly). I tried to discuss the unsuitability for two of us sharing the room but was ...
