Travelled to Venice with daughter for the weekend. The hotel was in a great location, 2 minute walk from the Rialto Bridge and 5 minutes to San Marco square. The hotel is clean, quiet, and our room was comfortable and clean as well. Breakfast was decent, Ardi, the man serving us was very nice and friendly.
My only complaint is the price, which for November was a little expensive for this 4 star hotel, and on the day...

Nice hotel with a rooftop bar, EXCEPT huge black moulds in the bathroom

We liked this hotel except one thing - massive active moulds all over the bath tab!! When we arrived the porter carried our luggage to our room, and the room was clean and we enjoyed the welcome drink at the rooftop bar. The bathroom itself is ok but really terrible black moulds are all around the shower area, along the bath tab, taps and tile walls. When I took a bath the black moulds actually all came into the wate...

Overall a good hotel/location. Prior to my arrival I emailed the hotel regarding transportation from the airport to hotel. They suggested a private service for 190. Car picked us up and drove us to a water taxi. Once we were at the hotel, I discovered theres a water ferry that runs directly from the airport to the front of the hotel and its 15 one way. Wouldve of been nice if the hotel recommended this service. ...

This is a very nice hotel in a very central convenient location (but that also means the nearby streets are crowded with visitors). Rooftop bar is nice. Just a couple things didnt seem to live up to the price point probably the worst breakfast we had in 2 weeks of traveling around (cut fruit tasted day-old every day)....

I have just returned from a 5 night stay at Hotel a La Commedia. I went with my 20 year old daughter who is moving to Venice for a years study abroad. The hotel was recommended by a girlfriend and certainly met all of our requirements. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
