I was so happy to find Town Inn Suites during my search for a place to stay in Toronto. I spent a full day researching different places for 2 families to try and keep cost down. I found a great deal on Expedia/TripAdvisor but wanted to book directly through the hotel, which I was able to do and the front desk price matched as they were able to see the live offer on Expedia. A good sized apartment hotel in central location, A short walk to the subway. Comfortable room and quiet. The bathroom and walk in shower were great. Breakfast let's it down as small room and not much on offer, We were only staying 3 nights so it was OK. Good price for proximity to downtown....

A terrible room and a good room - a study in contrasts

This hotel is a contrast in good rooms and terrible rooms. We started in one of their old rooms. It had more than few issues:
LIVING ROOM
Ancient heater and A/C unit
No eating table
Both electrical outlets in living room on the TV wall dead; floor lamp did not work
Dead kitchen counter light
Minimal kitchen equipment
BEDROOM
No electrical outlet on the bed side of the bedroom
None of the bedroom lamps work...

Mediocre at best. I was impressed with the lobby, very clean and modern. I booked the "Luxury King Suite" which was quoted to have "granite countertops" along with a photo of a lovely suite with an island and dining table. When I unlocked my room, this was not at all what I was given. We had a kitchen with stainless appliances that looked very new - but plain countertops and no island or kitchen table. We had a couc...

Nice hotel. Good location. Comfortable bed. And clean and tidy. Staff polite and helpful (the tour firm they recommended for Niagara falls were great and reasonably priced. I even did the boat ride, which was spectacular. ) Some negatives: they clean the room every other day (maybe that is the norm); there were a few broken things in my room (one of the lights and the towel rail); the gym is private and needs to book...
