Would not recommend Scandic simply because they could not refund my booking when there was a mistake.

I would not recommend Scandic to anyone. There occurred a mistake with my booking and I got the wrong dates. I am aware that I chose none-refundable, but I called the hotel 1 min after the booking was done in hopes of some understanding. However none was to be found and they could do nothing for me. I understand if I had tried to change things after having made a booking, but this was a human mistake and that is wher...

Our Scandic experience

We had a room on the 6th floor, and still we could hear the weekend partying going on outside. The chime on the elevator also could be heard in the room, and the room was cold. These annoyances did not bother us, so all in all, we liked our one night stay, especially we liked the breakfast buffet in the morning....

Nice hotel, close to everything. You can walk to the Katrina Elevator for great views of Stockholm, then walk across the bridge to Gamla Stan (Old Town).
My room was big, American size, and had a big bed, a desk, and two chairs. Please replace the hard metal chair though. It was not comfortable. There was a closet to hang things and there were shelves for your clothes and other items.
