Boutique Hotel in Old Town

The hotel is in a nice location, inside the old town. I was booked for 4 nights. Upon arrival I was placed in Room 106 which I read was not a nice room, misty smells, no sunlight And I immediately asked for another room . The receptionist was pretty understanding and offered an upgrade at an extra $10 per night which I was happy to pay. Overall good experience, customer service was great. Location was perfect....

Odour problem in bedroom
The bed was antiquated and creaky and uncomfortable
Noise from musicians in neighbouring premises till 11.30pm and noise from 5 am from staff in the same building at rear
Breakfast was 8 minutes away in sister hotel, stale bread, cold scrambled eggs certainly not worth the money...

This was one of the best stays weve had. The interior is great, really looks like its a part of the palace as it has a window with a view to the old palace basement. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Staff was very helpful with the recommendations. The rooftop view was breathtaking. The only flaw we noticed was that the elevator is only from the first floor up, but that wasnt a big deal for us. Really ...

Plaza Marchi is a unique well-located property with pros and cons. Its built against the old city wall. You can even see part of the excavation through glass in the stairwell wall. Our deluxe queen room was beautiful and large for Europe. Large bathroom (but could have used an extra shelf for toiletries). Staff was very helpful with luggage (required to go up half a flight to reach elevator). Great rooftop sitting...

the facility is located in the city center in a great location. it is also very unique. great view from the hotel terrace. the room is spacious. the bed is big and comfortable. the staff is very friendly, willing to help with everything. We will be back...
