Not a bad hotel per se, but we had some issues. Its very central with easy walking distance to the old town and cathedral. We also had a nice welcome and our room on 5th floor had great light coming in and some views.
Housekeeping however was not up to scratch. Towels were frayed -twice in a row even after we had asked for new. Some kind of muck was on the bathroom door from a previous guest. We had drainage proble...

OK room in city centre hotel - Acceptable

We had a simple basic room in this centrally located hotel. The bed was comfortable and the TV, wifi and aircon all worked well. We liked the infrared drying lamp over the towel rail in the bathroom. Their website says the hotel has a laundry service but when we arrived we were told they don't have one. They didn't suggest any local laundries. Although packed with noisy pilgrims, this hotel is remarkably quiet at night ( ask for a room over the back). Rooms are small but have a safe, nice big bathroom ( and hooks). Breakfast is standard and in a crowded small dining area ( where loads of loud guests talk loudly about how quickly they walked the Camino so you cant hear yourself think) The location is excellent - right near Alameda park and the old town but...

After a long week completing the Camino staying in lovely rural hotels I found this central hotel disappointing Miserable staff and not enough tables for the breakfast rush. Room was hot and was told by reception that the air conditioning wasn't available at the end of May....

Walls need painting, floors are buckling, small room, not living up to its 3 star advertising. Stayed in 2 star hotels here that were better properties. On the edge of the historico center. Wont stay here again. ...
