Our final night on the Camino Portuguese was spent at the Hotel Eurostar Aruguaney in Santiago de Compostela. The hotel is one block off the Camino on the way to the Cathedral and made it a nice option to stop in advance of our visit to the Pilgrims Office and attend the Pilgrims Mass. We booked junior suite rooms to have more room - the suite rooms were very large and comfortable. Included breakfast was very good, and hotel is located only a 6-7 minute walk from the old part of the city. Rooms are traditional style, with plenty of storage space in the junior suites. The other couple we were traveling with noted that they could hear street noise at night, but although I did hear some, it was not...

Perfect location!

We finished the El Camino del Norte and stayed at this lovely hotel. It was beyond the Cathedral and out of the Camino traffic, whic was very nice. The hotel is surrounded by many excellent shops and restaurants. Our accommodations were perfect with a spacious bedroom and bathrroom. Breakfast was excellent, as well. We highly recommend this place after finishing the Camino!...

We absolutely loved the decadent belle epoch style of decor, furnishings and large suite style bedrooms in this hotel. The rooms were enormous, spotless and the beds so comfortable, we slept like logs. The breakfasts in the cafe were amazing, set us up for a day of touring beautiful Santiago. We ate in the onsite restaurant twice during our visit and had the best steaks and fish we have had in a very long time. Price...

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. The room was big and clean but very old-fashioned, it really needs a makeover. The glass door of the bathroom was chipped in some parts, even if they announce slippers and robe on the site, there werent anyThe room was quiet at night but in the morning the cleaning lady was making a lot of noise when entering the office near it.
