A relaxing stay at the end of the Camino

I stayed here for one night in August 2024 at the end of my Camino.
This was a great stay, quite luxurious after several days on the road. The room was large and tidy, and I enjoyed using the bath. The wifi worked well and there were plenty of channels on the TV. Very nice hotel near the city center

This hotel is very near the old city center. It's about a 15 minutes walk to the Cathedral of Santiago. We had a room with a terrace with a nice view at the city. Breakfast is good. Room and bathroom are big and the bed very comfortable. Not the cheapest hotel, but good value for money....

Pluses
Location the hotel is well located close to the old town and cathedral
Minuses
Reception both on arrival and departure was poor
on arrival there was no explanation or upselling of the services offerred at the hotel
on departure there was no question or interest in whether or not we had enjoyed our stay at the hotel

Unfriendly and disappointing

The location of the hotel was great and the Junior Suite we eventually got in for three nights after a night in the wrong room was lovely. However the customer service was very poor and even though hotel had made the mistake with our booking there was no apology nor recognition of the inconvenience caused. DO NOT STAY HERE - DANGER OF ELECTRICUTION!

Do not use this hotel! I stayed here with Booking.com and was electrocuted by an electrical wire that was left just cut and exposed from the bathroom plug.
Despite going through all the correct channels, they have accused me of lying and refuse any possible recourse.
