Allegedly full of Art to see, but cloed for massive renovation. The closure is clear on
Council etc websites, but not on commercial sites....

Interesting halls exhibiting art from the Renaissance to Neoclassicism, Art Deco and Impressionism. Paintings, sculptures, ceramics and furniture exposed in the various halls. Ground floor: Art Nouveau and Art Deco represented in decorative art and some paintings. First floor: Paintings from the 16th century and on: Renaissance, Neoclassicism, Impressionism, contemporary art. I spent like 2 hour to see it. It is not...

Closed for a few years (!?!)

One main draw to Reims. Checked online that it was closed on Tuesdays - fair do. Arrived on a Wednesday to find a notice saying closed for repairs/work etc - for a few years. Hmm....

This is a lovely building with a great collection of art deco objects. And to be fair it was free. But the main collection was off limits for some reason and that was disappointing...

Many paintings and worth a visit. A bit worried by the way the paintings are maintained. No sign of humidifiers just fans. Evident cracking in some of the pictures. The art nouveau exhibition on the ground floor was very enjoyable aided by a knowledgable member of staff. ...
