The hotel was decent and clean with nice amenities on site (pool, gym, restaurant) but the bed was very old and uncomfortable and the service, particularly after checking out, has been horrible. I left an item in the closet in my room and called to see if they could retrieve it. I know exactly where I left it so all they needed to do was to send somebody to grab it. Instead they kept transferring me to lost and foun...

By far the best hotel in California and probably the nation. Everyone you will encounter is extremely friendly. Food is amazing and there are wonderful amenities to go along with your stay. Also the hotel is extremely clean, I mean extremely clean. I will only stay here from here on out in San Fran....

Unforgettable Experience for the whole family

Our stay at Hotel Nikko was unforgettable! The Imperial Lounge was lovely and we enjoyed breakfast while watching the sun rise over the bay.
The indoor pool was magnificent and the health club was top notch.
The lobby was gorgeously decorated for the holidays and was very welcoming to families and dogs!
Other nearby hotels in Union Square had protests and we felt so safe at Hotel Nikko and grateful to stay in a ...

I love the Nikko SF. It is a gorgeous hotel, the lobby is decorated for the holidays, the Sunday brunch is amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for shopping and eating and walking, and the pool and workout space are great for a break from all the shopping and eating....

Lack of respect or service

There was a cascade of repeated issues all related to poor service and poor management. I was not treated like a guest but like a hassle. Many times I was not acknowledged at all, including lack of staff to address issues inclduing repeated calls to guets services, repeated visits to the front desk with no staff present, and a lack of required services when my room had a serious problem. Instead I was rudly awaken...
