Great first visit to Rome

We stayed 3 nights in room 512. The room was compact but we were only there to freshen up or sleep so it was sufficient. It is a little dark due to the lighting, especially the shower which was pitch black unless we showered when there was daylight coming into the bathroom. Our room was very warm but the windows opened well enough to let air in. Bed was very firm. Got used to it after the first night.

We really liked the hotel. It was very clean. Staff was friendly. It was close to the places where we wanted to go. The breakfast was really good. We could choose from many different foods. The view from the restaurant was really good. We liked the jacuzzi in the room and we liked the design of the room. I really recommend this hotel to everyone....

Depressing hotel in so many ways

Possibly the most depressing hotel room stay that I can recall. The room was dark and dank. The window looked into an awful industrial courtyard. There is no tea and coffee or kettle. There are no blankets on the beds and in the middle of the night it was like an icehouse, finished sleeping in track suits just to keep warm. Front desk staff mirror the rooms - cold at best. Dark and impractical

The location was very good (near the Vatican and near the Piazza del Popolo). Also the breakfast was delicious.
Unfortunately though the room (standard room with double bed) was very dark with black and brown walls. No ceiling light, just a few decorative paper lamps on the walls. It was impossible to read anything! The window was facing another wall, so no proper lighting from outside either.

Lovely comfortable and clean hotel in a superb location. The hotel is nearby major sites, approximately 20/30 minute walk from most places and very near Vatican city which can be seen from the breakfast room. Breakfast was plentiful and of a high standard in a very open and bright room with beautiful views. Rooms are very clean and despite not being a large hotel chain is very professionally decorated and maintained....
