What a wonderful experience! We decided to splurge for a nice room in a nice hotel. The Republic was everything we could have asked for. The room was very nice, but the staff really made it special. They were all wonderful and helpful. We appreciate the little extras like taking our bag up to our room (the hotel has an elevator that goes to the 4th floor, but our room was on the 5th, so we had one flight of stairs. ...

Better than expected

Everything about the hotel itself was great. Friendly, efficient service, clean room with all amenities (except for washcloths), good location and a very good breakfast. Only negative was noisy people on the street below well into the night but that's no fault of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again....

Great location for holiday

The Republic Hotel was situated in a very convenient area to a lot of historical sites. Basically, across the road from main train station ( terminus) , buses, metro and hop on, hop off buses. The hotel, itself, was clean, modern, rooms quite spacious. Breakfast was good. Does have a bar but never saw it open. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again ...

This hotel was very modern, and clean. The beds were very comfortable, and pillows amazing. Very quiet so easy to get a really good night sleep. Staff are very professional and friendly. Nothing is a problem for them. I will be staying at the The Republic the next time I am in ROME. Good value and excellent location...

My family was there. Their rooms were average, very modern very close to the train. I know they enjoyed it..
