Well, the photography for this hotel is exceptionally creative. It is not the same in person. This is a busy working street without any glamor. We were assigned room # 28, second floor, no elevator. (2/3 of the way up the stairs reception guy called up to us and asked if we needed help - a little late with the offer). No room safe - a big negative for us. The location of the hotel is fantastic. You walk out the front door and your literally outside the colosseum. The surrounding area has got lovely little restaurants, cafes and an independent wine bar / shop which does unreal sandwiches,

We chose this hotel for our 2 day break in Rome due to its excellent location and appearance and on both fronts it didn't disappoint. However, we quickly realised that the rooms have paper thin walls and in particular ceilings to the point that we could hear every word and every movement from the occupants above us. It all looks very good on pictures but once you arrive troubles will start, very small rooms, electricity on and off, AC almost not existing, hot water turn to freezing cold when taking a shower, bathrooms smells mold all over and you will smell it all over the room, breakfast is a disaster, rotten milk, pastries kept for days and offered every time, not clean, space hot very little AC, manager not available after 11...

1. Our room was extremely small.
2. Only one of us could take a shower- hot water was just for one person.
3. Unstoppable nose from the air conditioning unit from the roof - we couldnt sleep.
4. Breakfasts were terrible. Dont expect fresh bread, croissants, etc.
5. Our room view was to the inside yard with garbage cans (were promised a city view).
